These guides are especially useful for products like lip stains, multichromes, liners, mascaras, skincare, and anything that may perform differently depending on application method, skin type, lip tone, or prep.
The coven may be reached Monday–Friday between 9am and 3pm (UK time).
Our witches rest on weekends and Bank Holidays.
Orders are prepared and shipped Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm. Place your order before 11am to have it dispatched the very same day.
For order queries use the contact form below, please remember to include your order number. We cannot answer any queries without an order number.
Please ensure your details are correct at the time of ordering as the coven cannot refund or replace orders sent to an incorrect address.
Orders placed before 11am (UK time) are usually dispatched the same day.
Delivery times depend on the method chosen:
- UK: Free shipping travels via Royal Mail 48.
• Overseas: Free shipping travels via DHL Economy (up to 10 working days).

During great gatherings — launches, sales, and the holiday season — the coven’s cauldrons bubble over. While we strive to dispatch swiftly, orders may take a little longer to leave our hands. Rest assured, every parcel will be sealed, blessed, and sent as quickly as the magick allows.
Yes — we ship to most corners of the world. Please ensure your address details are entered in full (including the country’s full name, postcode/ZIP etc.) exactly as they should appear. The details you provide are the details used — the spell cannot be altered once cast.
At this time, we do not ship to Russia or Israel,

If your parcel has not arrived within 10 working days of the expected delivery date, please contact us as soon as possible so we can investigate this with the courier.
Most couriers only allow a limited time for lost parcel claims to be opened. For this reason, missing parcel claims must be reported to us within 10 calendar days of the expected delivery date.
If a missing parcel is reported after this timeframe, we may be unable to claim compensation from the courier, and this may limit the options available for refund or replacement.
This does not affect your statutory rights.
Please notify us within 24 hours of delivery if you believe you have received an incorrect item. We will require a photograph of the incorrect items and a picture of the packing sheet.
We want every order to arrive exactly as intended. Most do. Occasionally, real life (and some couriers) have other ideas. If something goes wrong Please notify us within 24 hours of delivery if your parcel arrives damaged. This allows us to investigate promptly and, where appropriate, submit a claim with the courier within their required timescales. Please keep all packaging until your issue has been resolved.If an item has arrived damaged, we may need photographs of the packaging and contents in order to submit a courier claim. Claims may be affected if packaging has been disposed of before photographs can be taken.
Shipping methods include tracking. You shall receive your tracking number via email (Please make sure your email is correct when you place your order, and check your spam folders) once your parcel is dispatched, allowing you to follow its journey through the shadows.
Always. VE Cosmetics is a strictly vegan brand — vegan owned, vegan operated, forever cruelty-free.
From time to time, the coven releases codes of power — tokens that grant you savings upon your treasures. These must be spoken (entered) at checkout, before the spell is sealed. Once your order is cast, discount codes cannot be added after.

But some of our stockists do have physical shops where our magick resides.
Every potion we craft carries its list of ingredients upon its page. We urge all seekers to read these incantations carefully before purchase, especially if you walk with sensitivities or allergies. Though our magick is vegan and cruelty-free, each soul’s skin is unique. Always perform a patch test before full ritual use.

None of our ingredients or finished products are tested on animals, nor do we sell in countries where animal testing is required by law.

Most packaging (cardboard, aluminium, glass) is recyclable. Some items depend on local authority rules — anything uncertain can often be taken to a Terracycle point.
Since 2020, all our mica is synthetic to avoid child labour and exploitation. Prior to this, we relied on supplier declarations, but thanks to your support, we were able to make the switch.
Why does VE Cosmetics only use synthetic mica?
We use only synthetic mica to avoid the risk of child labour, unsafe mining conditions, and unethical supply chains associated with natural mica. Synthetic mica delivers the same beautiful shimmer without the human cost.
Is synthetic mica safe and high quality?
Yes. Synthetic mica is created in controlled environments, offering excellent performance, stability, and purity , often superior to mined mica.
Why don’t you use “ethical” natural mica?
While some suppliers claim ethical sourcing, mica supply chains can be complex and difficult to fully verify. We choose synthetic mica to ensure complete transparency and peace of mind.
Does synthetic mica affect how your products look or feel?
Not at all. Our formulas retain the same richness, shimmer, and performance without compromise.
We love when you tag us! We do our best to repost, but we cannot share looks that:

Ensure your country allows bulk cosmetic imports and that you hold a valid EORI number. If not, returned shipments will lose postage fees, and resending will incur extra costs..
Makeup artists may apply by emailing us with proof (such as your website). Discounts are granted at our discretion and may be revoked if misused. You may also apply to our affiliate scheme.
As a vegan-owned brand, we are anti-oppression in all forms, and deeply committed to ethical practices across our work.
We recently moved from our EU manufacturer due to difficulties in maintaining vegan-only lines.
Now, we work with a trusted manufacturer in China that runs an exclusively vegan production line to prevent cross-contamination.
The factory is fully EU/UK/US compliant, insured, and upholds a fair wage policy. They also work with renowned brands, giving us access to expert formulation chemists to help us to refine our products.
